Ola Electric scooter bookings open at Rs 499
Customers who book it now will receive priority delivery, according to Ola Electric.
Ola Electric has begun taking reservations for its forthcoming scooter, which will cost Rs 499.
- The booking amount is fully refundable
- It will be made at a new factory in Tamil Nadu
- The scooter features all-LED lighting

What we do know is that the scooter is based on the Etergo Appscooter, a Dutch start-up that Ola purchased in 2020. According to the firm, this platform has now been substantially upgraded to provide better performance, range, and technology. Ola claims to have segment-leading performance and range stats, while specifics have yet to be released. The Ola Electric scooter will have the same single telescopic front suspension as the Etergo, but it will most likely be adjusted for our riding climate and to keep prices down.
Price of the Ola Electric Scooter is expected to be approximately Rs 1 lakh.
Ola Electric will also develop an electric vehicle charging network with 1 lakh charging stations in 400 cities across India. The company wants to deploy roughly 5,000 charging points in 100 cities this fiscal year, and then grow further.
