National Scholarship Scheme 2021 – National Scholarship Portal
To apply for a government scholarship, go to the National Scholarship Portal and fill out the online application.

Students can apply for numerous scholarship schemes sponsored by the federal and state governments through the National Scholarship Portal. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India, has launched this portal. Beneficiaries can also check the status of their applications through this platform.
If you wish to be considered for a government scholarship, you must apply online through the National Scholarship Portal and follow the steps outlined by us. From August 21, 2020, new applications will be accepted. In order to apply for scholarships, students no longer need to go to government offices. They simply need to go to the official website and submit an application for a scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria For Ishan Uday Special Scholarship Scheme
- The applicant must belong to domiciles of North Eastern states including Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Nagaland ( for Ishan Uday special scholarship scheme only)
- The applicant must be single girl child in the family (twin daughters can also apply) (only for PG Indira Gandhi Scholarship for single girl child)
- An applicant’s age should be less than 30 years
- The family income of the applicant must be less than 4.5 lakh
- The applicant must have taken admission in the first year of any degree course(Ishan Uday scholarship). The applicant must have taken admission in the first year of the regular master degree program (PG Indira Gandhi scholarship)
Eligibility Criteria For PG Scholarship For University Rank Holders
- The applicant must be a rank holder in their graduation exam (for PG scholarship for university rank holders)
- The applicant must belong to SC/ST category (for PG scholarship scheme for SC/ST students)
- An applicant must be pursuing the first year of post-graduation studies
- The applicant must have secured 60% marks in graduation (for PG scholarship for university rank holders)
- The maximum age limit of the applicant is 30 years
