Bihar Lockdown- 4 went into effect on Wednesday. There will be more shops open now than there were previously. In comparison to Lockdown-3, the timeframe for keeping the shops open has also been extended. The shop will now be open till 2 p.m. Aside from that, Lockdown-4 has some other features. Masks and social separation, on the other hand, will have to be scrupulously adhered to.
To break the cycle of corona infection in Bihar, the government enforced a lockdown on May 5. On Tuesday 01 June 2021, Lockdown-3 came to an end. From Wednesday, Lockdown-4 will be in effect. In Lockdown-4, several limitations that had previously been imposed have been loosened. Now, all kinds of stores will open in the space of one day. Certain shops will open on which days have been selected by the district administration.
Shops selling food, fruits and vegetables, milk, meat, and fish, as well as fertilisers, seeds, and insecticides, will be open every day. Other shops, on the other hand, may be open on Alternate Day. Shops were allowed to open in urban areas until 6-10 p.m. and in rural areas until 8-12 p.m. during Lockdown-3. Shops can now stay open until 2 p.m.
In government offices, there will be a 25% attendance and work will begin in about a month. Lockdown-4 has ordered government offices to reopen. However, just 25% of employees will be present in the offices at this time, and work will be completed by 4 p.m.
